Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 amโ€“10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (818) 805-1778. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, slicehouse.com.

Burbank is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Burbank follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I've walked past this place a million times. Decided to finally check it out. As a Michigander I gave the "Detroit Style" a shot. Unfortunately it was anything but. I was really disappointed with the result. Luckily I used the $5 off coupon for the slice so the sting wasn't as bad. But there was virtually no sauce on it, and the cheese was tough with no pull. While they did do a focaccia style dough, it was quite dense and lacked flavor. But the cheese crown around the pie was overcooked and turned brittle which I imagine was from them reheating the slice at too high of a temperature. For the life of me I can't understand why there was cheese underneath the bottom. It was burnt and made for an unappetizing bite. The beer pour was good and the staff was friendly but there were also nats flying everywhere which wasn't great.

First time- ordered a whole XLarge pizza - I did half HAWAIIAN HIT MAN/HOT HONEY and it was delicious the ingredients were fresh and high quality, the crust was one of the best crust I have had. The girl at the register could have been more helpful I had to get information out of her๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ like pulling teethโ€ฆโ€ฆ. But I got it figured out and got a delicious pizza in the end. I also ordered the house salad - not worth it only had 3 candy walnutsโ€ฆ.. all greens. It was $62 bucks for pizza and a alright salad.

Phenomenal job by Tony and his staff. This is a true work of art. The ingredients taste like they we're handpicked. I enjoyed a NY style cheese slice, Sicilian and a grandma's slice. Each with unique crust and flavors. Grandma's was my favorite for it's simplicity. Tasted like I was at an Italian grandmother's kitchen. I enjoy pizza all over Los Angeles county and this place earns the trophy for overall #1

First time ordering here, for a pickup. Wanted to try this pizza place since good ones are scarce, imho, around LA. (Coming from a lifetime of being spoiled by all the Chicago style pizzas) We ordered a New York style 12" Hawaiian Hitman and 12" Little Italy, 2 Meatball subs, and a Bucatini pasta. Really enjoyed everything. Meatball subs here in CA are decent but not as good as back home, BUT this place uses Chicago based Turano bread and it blows away other sandwich breads for real, so they have the advantage. The Hawaiian Hitman was really tasty. Both pizzas were really good. We spent about $102 for all that we ordered. I would def go back to try their other style pizzas and of course, another meatball sub on that turano bread. For a small chain, they do a good job.

Slice House was great. Slices range between $6-8 bucks with a decent variety of flavors and styles. They serve New York, Sicilian, and Detroit styles, all of which were delicious. They have restrooms and plenty of seating indoor and out. They serve a decent variety of craft beer and Pepsi products.
